Upgrades to Varsity Field
Thanks to Mike Jordan, Bob Beedle, Roger Stippel and the 16u players for their work on the upgrade at the Varsity Field. We now have a windblock and new safety covers on the outfield fence and also running water to the field. The photo of the field is now in our announcements page photo banner.
Kelsey McQuillan selected to play in 22nd Annual All-Star Series
Way to go Kelsey! See the Stillwater Gazette Article for more information. Kelsey is also selected to the Pioneer Press All-State Team, from the Pioneer Press: Dedication to improve fueled a remarkable climb that began when she was on a 12-under "C" team. Hit .395 this season and had a .320 average during her four-year career. Excellent range and a sure glove. Had a 3.70 GPA.
Our Varsity is not just good, they are smart.
Congratulations to Kayla Christensen for being named a Minnesota Fastpitch Coaches Association 2010 Individual Academic Award Winner. Also our Varsity Program received the Gold Award by the Association for a team GPA greater than 3.75.
Board Meeting September 15th, 2010
Time for ball so no more Board meetings until September 15th at SAHS faculty lounge. Meeting is at 7:00. We will be reviewing the season and preparing for Winter Clinics and Bylaws review.
